But Noah found favor in the sight of the Lord. This is the account of Noah. Noah was a godly man; he was blameless among his contemporaries. He walked with God.
Genesis 6:8-9 NET
Your life speaks! Your life speaks to others, but most importantly it speaks to God!
God doesn’t sit in Heaven and just watch us all make fools of ourselves. No! He is active in our lives.
When God regretted that He made the Earth (v6), He knew that He had one person who was godly and who walked with Him. He didn’t fail to bless Him and make a way out of the destruction that was coming.
Noah found favor with God because of the way He lived and because He put God first in His life.
The Father still operates like this! He looks down from Heaven on those who walk in His ways, those who choose to live a righteous life.
And does His favor still go forth?
Yes! His favor is still poured out on those who live obediently.
When you walk with the Lord, you’ll see it in all kinds of ways. But sometimes you don’t even know it. He is just that good!
God blesses His children. He wants to give good gifts to you.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:11,”If you then, although you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”
He gives good gifts. But the ultimate gift is Jesus’ blood that forgives us of all our sins and the knowledge that one day we will be face to face with Him in eternity.
Choose to walk righteously and experience the favor of the Lord, today, tomorrow and forever!
Father, thank You for not leaving me to fend for myself in this world. Thank You that You look into my heart and mind. I pray You find that I am completely Yours and that my desire is to live for You here and in eternity.
