Yet until now she has refused to acknowledge that I was the one
who gave her the grain, the new wine, and the olive oil; and that it was I who lavished on her the silver and gold—

Don’t be like the people of Israel who forgot who their source was!
As a result, they turned from worshipping the One True God and worshipped idols.
God is the one who blesses you and provides for you. He gives you what you need and makes sure you are taken care of.
But acknowledge Him! Give Him praise for your provision. Thank Him!Give Him the glory He deserves.
The Biblical record is clear. God loves His people and He wants to bless them. When they were far away from Him, He would get their attention. The problem is that many times they were so stubborn that they didn’t recognize Him or turn back.
Learn from their mistakes. They took their focus off of God. Don’t do that! Give Him the praise, glory and reverence He deserves.
Father, forgive me when I take attention off of You and put it somewhere else. I know that You are my source and strength always. I pray that my life reflects that and You are honored and glorified by my words and actions.
