Observation
We should be paying attention! We should be paying attention to the signs and times for clues of Jesus’ return.
This chapter of Luke talks about many different signs, some pretty scary. Some signs were for Jesus’ time and some for the very end. So we need to pay attention.
When you look at our world right now, are things at a fever pitch?
It would be easy to get carried away into how negative it is and how this government did that and how crazy the weather is acting. But we should really be getting ready for what Jesus’ return means.
Crazy things are always going to happen. They might be signs, they might not. But if the craziness of our world meant that the end WAS near, would you be ready?
Application
You are ready for Jesus’ return when you have repented of your sins, asked for forgiveness and have given your heart to Him. You then choose to live according to His ways, found in the Bible.
This need to be dealt with first!
But then you can get ready by making others know it is time to get ready for Jesus’ return too! You should be ready to share the Gospel with family, friends or even strangers.
If Jesus has changed your life, wouldn’t you want others to know? Wouldn’t you want others to have the same peace you have? Wouldn’t you want your loved ones to be with you in eternity?
The time is short. The end is nearer today than ever. Share the Lord with someone and impact eternity!

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Help me to share Your Good News with my world.
