Now the beast was seized, and along with him the false prophet who had performed the signs on his behalf—signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulfur.
Revelation 19:20 NET
The future is clear for the devil. He and the false prophet are thrown into the Lake of Fire, alive.
And it would be ok if it ended there. The problem is that there are those who follow the beast. They don’t have a good end either.
Why don’t people see things through to their conclusion?
Where does the road you are walking on lead you?
The whole Bible points to the end when God’s plan is finally executed in totality.
The interesting part is that “the end” means that only for those who didn’t make Jesus their Lord and Savior.
For those who did, “the end” is the beginning of eternal life with Jesus in Heaven.
What a wonderful future that will be!
Come Lord Jesus!
Father, help me to watch the skies with anticipation of the end. And while I wait, help me to point others to You and eternal life through Your Son, Jesus.
