Blessed be the Lord,
Because He has heard the voice of my supplication. Psalms 28:6 NASB
You have heard the saying, “you won’t know if you don’t ask.”
This saying applies to prayer too! God answers prayer. But if you don’t go to Him in prayer, if you don’t expect Him to answer, you won’t value your prayer time.
Prayer feels akward because it seems like you’re just talking to yourself, in your mind or out loud.
But the Father is listening. He is listening and He is doing something about your prayer.
Just don’t get impatient on the answer. He has a reason for the way He does things. His ways aren’t your ways, but they are always best. He sees the big picture, the long game. He sees and thinks in eternity.
Like the Psalmist, know that He listens and answers your prayers. Then trust!
Trust and wait on Him! It is hard, especially when we like quick answers and resolutions. But He knows what He’s doing!
Are you praying?
Father, thank You that You listen and answer every prayer. Help me to be patient and wait for Your answer.
