Observation
God’s Word just makes sense! When people truly read and take His Word to heart, it makes sense! And on this side of the resurrection, with the Holy Spirit, we can read His Word and truly understand it. But it is all meaningless if we don’t obey!
Obedience to God Word is always the key! If the Children of Israel would have been obedient, they would have lived in perpetual blessings from the Father.
The Word of God gives us instructions for everything we need in this life and the next. When we allow God to have His proper place in our lives, and follow the commands of His Word, we can live a blessed life, close to Him.
Application
Do you know the Word of God? Do you spend time in the Word of God? There is no other way, other than to prayerfully, with the Holy Spirit, read and study His Word.
Do you have a Bible reading program to follow? Make sure you are reading the whole counsel of God and not just your favorite passages.
…the Word of God lasts forever.
Prayer
Lord, help us to read and know Your Word through the power of the Holy Spirit. Help us to apply it to our lives and to be obedient to what we read.
