For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:3 NASB
The focus should always be on Jesus, what He went through and what He accomplished for us.
If He is our focus, we can hold on to hope and what awaits us. Because He died and rose again, we have eternal life.
But if our focus is on the world or what is happening in the world, it is easy to get discouraged and cast down.
That is why the Believer needs to stay consistent in the Lord.
Are you staying on track with Jesus? Are you in for the long haul? Or do you come and go as you need a little boost?
It’s dangerous to not stay consistent, because it is so easy to get off track and find yourself wandering around trying to figure out the next step.
