And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV
You need people, specifically your people, who will encourage you and cheer you on in the Lord!
This is the way it was supposed to be from the beginning. Jesus had disciples, a group of men that He was close to when He was in His earthly ministry. He also had more than that, but He had a tight group with the twelve.
We need a group too! Some people will call it a tribe. Whatever you call it, we need people around us that can help to encourage us and that we can encourage in the Lord.
The world doesn’t like Jesus’ work. And they won’t like us either. That is why it is important that we encourage each other as we see the day approaching. And don’t you see the day approaching?
Your tribe should be other Christians that you go to church with and that you have fellowship with. If you’re not in church, find one! Find a group you feel led to and get involved.
Don’t do the hour on Sunday morning and that’s all! That isn’t how the Christian life was supposed to be.
You need people around you that can encourage you when you’re going through a dry spell. And there are people that are counting on you to be there for them when they go through a dry spell too!
But that won’t happen if you are not purposely spending time with Bible believing Christians who will help you to know God’s Word.
Don’t let the ways of the world speak louder than the ways of Jesus!
Get connected now!
Father, thank You for people who will speak into my life in times of trouble. Help me to be a light and speak Your Word when others need You too.
