As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last He will take His stand on the earth. Job 19:25 NASB
Belief can be a powerful thing. It can cause people, regardless of the situation, to take a stand for what they believe in.
Job sat broken in front of his “friends” and family. He had lost everything, his kids, his wealth, his health, everything. Yet, he stood by the one thing that he had not lost, the one thing that he couldn’t lose. His Redeemer lived!
There is no power on Earth that can cancel that belief out. The world, the devil and governments have tried. But for the true Believer, my Redeemer lives!
It speaks to the now and future! It gives us strength and hope! It reminds us that this world isn’t all there is. It causes us to live with one loose hand holding on to this Earth as we take the jump to the next.
“My Redeemer lives” gives us hope and reminds us that we will live too! When everything else is stripped away, like it was for Job, we realize that it is the only thing that matters.
Are you at a place where you can say, “my Redeemer lives?” If not, make Him your Redeemer today!
