The Lord your God is in your midst;
he is a warrior who can deliver.
He takes great delight in you;

Observation
God comes close to His children, His people. He’s not sitting on some throne in Heaven, looking down on us , waiting for us to mess up so He can throw down thunderbolts.
He loves His people. He wants to be around them. He wants to help them, encourage them, rejoice with them.
Are you His people?
Application
Do you live your life with Jesus in your midst? Is He a big part of your everyday life or is He a passerby on Sundays?
He wants to do life with you. He wants to be where you are and to be active in your life.
Recognize Him in your very midst today. Have eyes to see and ears to hear what the Lord would say to you. Know that He wants the very best for you.
Nothing, no one compares to Him.
Prayer
Lord, in my daily coming and going, be the Rock that is higher than I. Be my constant. Lord, that I know no matter what is in front of me, that You are to my left, to my right, behind and all around. The days are hard and how can anyone face this time without You? Thank You that I know the truth and that I can trust in You.
