“And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you.
Psalms 39:7 ESV
Life is short and life is long. It depends on your perspective how you choose to see it.
But either way, it comes to an end!
That’s right, one day you will breathe your last and everything that you did, everything that you strived for will be left behind.
You might hope your family will get any financial blessings you leave behind. And you hope you have made a difference in others. And that’s it!
Is it? Are you ok with that?
Are you ok with just turning back into dust?
What if there was more? What if this life was just a warm-up? No, better yet, a decision time! Where we choose what happens in the next part of our journey?
It can be scary. And sometimes life IS scary. Sometimes it is overwhelming, crazy, mean, good, happy and everything else.
But it’s not all!
This life is temporary.
So what’s the best way to navigate this temporary life?
Put your hope in Jesus! He is the answer! Learn, grow and seek Him daily. That’s it!
It’s simple. Stop making it harder than it needs to be!
Put your hope in Him! Do it right now!
Father, thank You that I’m not left here on Earth to my own devices. I thank You that I can hope in You and the salvation I have through Jesus Christ.
