6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, willguard your hearts and your minds inChrist Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7 NASB
It’s hard to wait. Many times, we want to go out there an make it happen. But we might find ourselves fighting against God and miss the blessing He wants to give us.
God know better than you! The God who created the universe, surely K ow what you need. Don’t let impatience, cause you to miss your blessing from God.
The Apostle Paul provides some insight to what we should do when we are waiting…pray and be thankful for what you do have.
Something happens when we put ourselves in this place, the peace of God comes in and guards your heart and mind.
I’ve learned to trust and rely on God. I’ve learned to have faith. I need to apply this though, even when I feel anxious.
In the span of a day, many things can happen to cause stress and anxiety. But this is exactly when I need to focus my prayer and thanks. The rest will follow.
Lord, thank you for reminding me that You have blessed me beyond belief. Looking at my life, I know You have always been there. I also know that You will continue to be there. Help me to always go to You first…before I become anxious and before I try to handle it in my own.
