How can I give you up, O Ephraim?
How can I surrender you, O Israel?
How can I treat you like Admah?
How can I make you like Zeboiim?
I have had a change of heart!
All my tender compassions are aroused!
Hosea 11:8 NET
Many of the Prophets deal with the topics of warning God’s people because they have turned from Him. Because they have turned, God sends trouble to get their attention to cause them to return to living a life of worshipping only Him.
It is important to remember that God desires to turn hearts back to Him. The Biblical record is clear, God always relented when His people turned to Him.
This Scripture shows God’s heart for His people! “How can I give you up…?”
God’s heart burns for you!
He loves you so much. He wants the very best for you. And He knows that His very best is right in the middle of His will.
Where are you in your relationship with the Lord? He is constantly reaching for you. Are you aware of His great love for you?
Are you where He desires you to be in your relationship together?
Would you draw closer to Him today?
His heart burns for you!
Father, thank You for loving me. I am grateful that I have You and I can depend on You always.
