Observation
The Believer who can stay focused on the things of God and not be distracted by the things of this world will experience the Lord in ways that wishy-washy (yes I used that word) Christians do.
God doesn’t rush. He plays the long game. He knows exactly what He is doing. It seems hard at times because we are so used to things being easy.
But when we endure and stay consistent and focus on Him, we are promised to receive what He has for us.
And why wouldn’t a Believer want everything that the Lord has promised? His ways are so much better.
Application
When we spend time, consistent time in the Presence of God, we become adjusted and aligned to His purpose.
We are a new creation, the old things have passed away. But we don’t always like the new life. We tend to enjoy aspects of the old life, so we turn our attention to our old life and break what God wants to do.
Let Him work in you. Give Him the time He desires. Allow your desires to be what He desires. Pray that you see from His perspective.
Soon, your endurance and steadfastness will payoff. Because the Lord blessed those who diligently seek Him.
Prayer
Lord, nothing compares to You. Help me desire Your ways more and more and not the world.
