And Simon answered, “Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.”

Sometimes, the things of God don’t make sense to the natural man. And because of that, many miss blessings in their life because they can’t get past not being able to see that the Lord always has something good for those who love Him.
Jesus jumped in Peter’s boat after Peter had a long night on the water and didn’t catch a thing. He used the boat as a platform to teach people while Peter was washing his nets.
But after He finished, He asked Peter to cast out again and drop his nets.
This would have been inconvenient. Peter had just washed his nets. He was tired. He was probably ready to go home and get a bite to eat before he did it all again the next day.
But even though he probably didn’t feel like it, Peter was obedient. And because he was obedient, he saw a great blessing and the power of God right in front of his eyes!
Consistent obedience to Jesus is the key!
Don’t miss out on what God has for you because you can’t see it! Be obedient! God doesn’t have to do everything the way you think it has to be done! He is God!
