If you came across a 15 year old in diapers, crawling on the floor, drinking formula out of a bottle, you would immediately know that something was wrong. But this happens spiritually and know one thinks twice!
Christians are supposed to grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus. But the true fact is that many Believers are like big babies, because they haven’t grown in the Lord. They haven’t taken the time to grow spiritually and have survived on spiritual milk.
We don’t like to hear this. And we wouldn’t admit that we are big spiritual babies. But where are you in your faith?
Are you at the same place you were 10, 5 or 2 years ago? Are you battling or dealing with the same issues? Are you struggling with the same sins?
The reason a human doesn’t grow is because they are not getting the right food inside of them. Are you getting the right spiritual food on the inside of you?
Take a moment to evaluate where you are spiritually. Have you grown? Do you have more faith? Do you have a better understanding of who Jesus is? Do you have better discernment?
Father, help me to grow in You. Show me Your ways and the path to Christian maturity.
