For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:6 NASB
God knew you before! He knew you when things weren’t right in your life. He knew you when you were at your worst!
And yet, He still sent Jesus, His only Son, to die on a cross so that you could have eternal life.
There is nothing that you can do to get clean or “look” right before His eyes. The only thing you can do is just come! Just come to Him and say, “Lord I need You. With all my uncleanliness. With all my insecurities. With all my worry. I come to You!”
And then, receive Him. Receive the goodness and mercy that He wants to give you. Receive the forgiveness, peace and eternal life.
God is a giver. He wants to bless your life. Let Him. Open your heart wide to Him. See what happens.
Father, thank You for taking us just as we are. We are worthless, but You made us precious in Your eyes. Fill our hearts with hope and peace so that the world around us sees You inside of us.
