I post watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they should keep praying all day and all night. You who pray to the Lord, don’t be silent! Don’t allow him to rest until he reestablishes Jerusalem, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.

There are many things that we do, that if we were honest, don’t really add value to life.
We often spend time on things that only bring a little entertainment, but don’t make a difference in our future.
And then there are things that we could do more of that would make a huge difference, like prayer.
The Scripture in Isaiah tells the watchman to pray and not to stop!
The watchman is supposed to continue to pray and not allow the Lord to rest until He answers their prayer.
The point is that God listens to your prayer! He cares about what you are saying. He hears you when you call out to Him!
Keep it up! Don’t allow the way things look to crush your faith.
Jeremiah 33:3 says, ‘Call on me in prayer and I will answer you. I will show you great and mysterious things which you still do not know about.’
Sometimes it seems like our prayers leave our mouth and never go any further. But rest assured that He is listening. And when the right time comes, He will answer!
He already knows what you need. Many times, the delay in prayer is to make sure you are ready for the next step. He uses the wait time to allow your faith to align with His.
Keep you prayer before Him. He will answer!
Father, You know everything. Teach us how to abide in prayer and cry out to You. Increase our faith and hope that You are the only answer.
