The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 NASB
What is God waiting for? With all the craziness going on in the world, many Believers might question when is Jesus coming back to end it all?
And it is perfectly fine for Believers to want that and desire Jesus’ Second Coming. Anyone who doesn’t want Jesus to come soon isn’t clear on what is waiting for them in Heaven.
But the Lord is waiting for a reason. He is being extra kind, extra loving, extra merciful. He is giving sinners another opportunity to seek Him and get their life right.
Everyday that passes, holds the potential for another soul to be saved!
And we play a part in all of that! We get to be a part of furthering the Kingdom of God! We get to share and spread the Gospel in every way possible.
You might share a Scripture. You might share a song. You might give someone a Gospel tract. You might witness to someone on the street. Every spiritual move plants a seed of the Gospel into another person’s life.
Are you playing your part in the Kingdom?
Father, help me to use every resource available to share the Gospel to those who need to hear.
