How are they to call on one they have not believed in? And how are they to believe in one they have not heard of? And how are they to hear without someone preaching to them? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How timely is the arrival of those who proclaim the good news.”
Romans 10:14-15 NET
The Apostle Paul lays out the importance of sharing and preaching the Gospel to those who haven’t heard.
Notice that he doesn’t say that preachers are sent. This wasn’t written to preachers, but to Christians.
When was the last time you shared the Good News?
There is a reason it is called Good News. Those who accept it as such, get a new reason for living. They find hope and peace knowing that Jesus lives in them and this world isn’t all there is.
Somewhere along the line, Christians stopped sharing the Good News. We need to get back to sharing. How will others hear if we don’t?
Again, this is the responsibility of every Believer!
There is no greater joy than knowing that you have played a part in someone coming to Christ. You might have sown a seed or watered, but when you are obedient, it is a true blessing on so many levels.
Trust in the Lord to use you. Step out of your comfort zone and share what Jesus has done for you. You just have to have faith, trust in Him and be obedient. He will take care of the rest.
Lastly, pray that the Lord will bring you opportunities to share the message. Then, be on the lookout!
Lord, give me opportunities to share the Good News, to play a part in furthering Your Kingdom.
