I wait for the Lord, my soul does wait,
And in His word do I hope.
Psalms 130:5 NASB
We are a busy people. We are always on the go and really don’t stop to wait on God. We don’t spend the time that we should in His Word.
The God of all creation made you to have fellowship with Him. He created you with a desire in the inside for more and deeper desires.
But if we don’t fill those desires with God, we will try to meet and fulfill those desires other ways.
And, we will fail miserably, because nothing satisfies like a true relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Waiting on God and hoping in His Word means that you are giving time to Him. Time is precious, our days are numbered on this Earth.
What greater honor could we give to the Lord than to show Him how much we love Him, by giving Him our most precious resource, time.
Don’t neglect time with the Lord. He deserves your best time. What would that be for you?
Lord, thank You for giving me the understanding of who You are. I desire You more than anything else. Let my worship and time with You be blessed in Your sight. I pray that my time with You would be the most cherished part of my day!
