Glorify God • Magnify Him in this World!

In that Moment

Scripture
35 Therefore, be on the alert—for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning— 36 in case he should come suddenly and find you asleep. 37 What I say to you I say to all, ‘Be on the alert!’”
Mark 13:35-37 NASB

Observation
One day the sky will split open and Jesus will return. In that moment, everything that “seemed”to matter will cease to be important. The fight you had with your spouse, the unpaid bills on your desk, your problems at work, all of it will not matter! The only thing that will matter is your relationship with Jesus!

In that moment, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The question is, does that confession come from a heart that is at peace with Jesus as your Lord, or does that confession come from a place of fear, because you know what you’ve heard all along to now be true? Jesus is the ONLY Way and there is none like Him!

In that moment, if you are coming from a place of fear, it will be too late! You’ve had your second, third…hundredth chance to turn to God.

Don’t delay! Give your heart fully to Jesus today! This means there is a change in you…you start living for Jesus! He has become Your Lord, you need to do things His way! That means you get to know Him, spend time with Him, read His Word.

In that moment, everything changes…

Application
There are still people I know who don’t know the Lord. I can tell them and if they don’t want to hear, I can pray for them. One day, it will be too late.

Ask the Lord to open doors for you to share your faith. It might be uncomfortable at first, but then you realize that you are snatching souls from the grip of Hell.

Prayer
Lord, I want to share You with others. Open doors to allow me to share the faith with those who need to hear. Send Your Holy Spirit to convict of sin and show others they need forgiveness and a loving Savior.

Peace
Todd
